All online payments through the shop are processed via PayPal, debit card, or credit card. Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive an email confirming your order.
If you have an account, your order details will also appear in the ‘Orders’ section of your account. If you experience any issues during the ordering process, including problems with payment, please contact us at info@becharlo.co.uk.

Delivery Information

Online purchases are subject to additional postage and packaging charges. These will be added at checkout and are based on the delivery address location, charged at a flat rate.

  • UK Orders: Sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

  • Ireland (IR) & EU Orders: Due to recent changes in shipping regulations and customs laws following Brexit, we are currently unable to accept orders for delivery to Ireland or the EU. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to resume shipping to these areas once the situation improves.

Collection from the Studio:
If you’d prefer to collect your order in person, collection is available from our studio. Simply use the coupon code COLLECTION at checkout to select this option.
Becharlo is not responsible for delays caused by local postal services or customs checks in the destination country. Any customs duties, import taxes, or VAT charges are the responsibility of the customer. A tracking number will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Delivery Times:

  • UK Orders: Dispatch within 3–5 working days.

  • International Orders (Non-EU): Dispatch within 7–14 working days.
For made-to-order items, delivery may take up to 8 weeks. You will be notified if this applies.

Sales and Returns

We hope you are delighted with your purchase from Becharlo. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we are happy to offer an exchange or credit note within 14 days of receipt. Alternatively, we offer a refund on items purchased through the website if they are returned unworn, in perfect condition, and in original packaging within 14 working days of receiving the order. Please contact us before returning any item.

Non-returnable and Non-refundable Items (in accordance with UK Health & Hygiene regulations and bespoke product guidelines):

  • Earrings and studs

  • Commissioned (bespoke) pieces

  • Customised items

  • Made-to-order pieces

When ordering rings or bangles online, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the correct size has been selected. If you’re unsure of your size, we recommend getting professionally sized or referring to our Size Guide in the website footer.

We cannot accept responsibility for the non-arrival of returned items and recommend sending returns via insured special delivery (UK). Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.
For fraud prevention, refunds will be issued via the original payment method within 28 days of receiving the returned item.

Repairs & Reconditioning

Our jewellery is handmade in-house, with a distinctive organic feel. It should be worn with care.

  • Broken chains are not the responsibility of Becharlo. However, if a chain arrives faulty and the issue is reported within 14 days of delivery, it will be replaced like-for-like at no charge upon return of the original chain.

  • Oxidised finishes may fade over time due to natural wear. We offer re-oxidising for £25 per piece.
For guidance on how to care for your jewellery, please visit our Jewellery Care page.

One of a Kind – OOAK

We do our best to accurately photograph and display our jewellery online. However, due to differences in screen settings and device displays, colour and image appearance may vary slightly. Becharlo cannot accept responsibility for such variations.
If you’re not satisfied with your item or feel it does not match your expectations, please refer to our Sales and Return policy. Some items, such as bespoke or made-to-order pieces, are not eligible for exchange or refund.

Diamonds, Stones & Gold

All materials used are sourced from UK-based suppliers who do not trade in conflict diamonds and support the Kimberley Process.

Workshop & Class Booking Terms

Due to small group sizes and the preparation involved, we’re unable to offer full refunds on workshop or class bookings. However, we understand that life happens — and we’ll always do our best to be fair and supportive.

Deposits

  • All workshops require a non-refundable deposit to secure your space.

    • For single-session workshops, the deposit is £30.

    • For multi-week courses (such as the Beginner’s Studio Series), the deposit is £100.

  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the workshop or first session begins.

  • If full payment isn’t received by then, your place may be offered to someone else.

Booking Confirmation

Your place will be confirmed once full payment has been received. You’ll receive a confirmation email no later than 2 weeks before the start of your class or course.

Cancellations & Refunds

Due to the small group sizes and preparation involved, we’re unable to offer refunds on workshop or class bookings. However, we understand that sometimes life happens.

If you need to cancel your place:

  • More than 4 weeks before your class date: We can offer to transfer your booking to another available date (within 12 months), minus a 10% admin fee.
  • Less than 4 weeks’ notice: We are usually unable to rebook your space at short notice, so no refund or transfer will be available.
  • If you’re unable to attend due to illness or an emergency, please get in touch — we’ll always do our best to help where we can.

If you don’t attend on the day, and we haven’t heard from you beforehand, we’re unfortunately unable to offer a refund or transfer.

Missed Sessions (for multi-week courses)

  • Your booking covers the full course as a block and is not transferable to other dates.

  • If you miss a session, we’ll do our best to help you catch up, but individual make-up sessions can’t be guaranteed.

Minimum Age & Consent

  • Workshops are designed for adults and are generally suitable for ages 18 and over.

  • We can accommodate participants aged 14–17, but they must have written consent from a parent or guardianand be accompanied to the studio at the start of their first session.

  • While a parent or guardian doesn’t need to stay during the session, they must be available by phone in case of emergencies.

  • Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept participants under 14 due to the nature of the tools and techniques used.

If We Cancel a Class

If BeCHARLO ever needs to cancel a class (due to illness, emergencies, or low bookings), you’ll be offered either:

  • A full refund, or
  • An alternative date that works for you

We’ll always give as much notice as possible, but we can’t be held responsible for any pre-booked travel or accommodation.

Other Things to Know

Please arrive on time, wearing closed-toe shoes, and with long hair tied back. All tools and materials will be provided unless otherwise stated.
