Make Your Own Silver Hoops
Spend time at a jeweller’s bench designing and handcrafting your own pair of solid sterling silver hoop earrings.
During this relaxed, beginner-friendly studio workshop, you’ll learn how to transform sterling silver wire into a beautifully balanced pair of hoops.
Guided through each stage, you’ll form, solder, refine and polish your earrings using traditional jewellery-making tools and techniques. Choose a classic polished finish or add hammered texture to create a more organic surface.
You’ll leave the studio wearing a pair of sterling silver hoops made entirely by you.
No previous jewellery-making experience is required.

What you’ll learn
During the workshop, you’ll be introduced to:
- Measuring and preparing sterling silver wire
- Forming evenly shaped hoops
- Filing and refining
- Annealing
- Soldering
- Adding optional hammered texture
- Finishing and polishing
- Fitting your earring findings
