Part of the In the Tide collection, this one-of-a-kind pendant explores the meeting of water, movement and precious materials.
The sculptural silver form was created using the water-casting process, where molten silver is poured directly into water and cools instantly, forming organic shapes and textures that can never be exactly replicated. The resulting form captures a fleeting moment of movement, preserved forever in precious metal.
At its centre sits a striking Pear set London Blue Topaz, nestled within a handcrafted 9ct gold pebble setting and a deeper Topaz set alongside. Inspired by pebbles smoothed by tide and time, the warm gold setting creates a beautiful contrast against the cool silver and deep ocean-blue gemstone.
Combining the unpredictability of water-casting with traditional goldsmithing techniques, this pendant is entirely unique. No two castings can ever be exactly the same, making it a true one-of-a-kind piece.

Shaped by the coastline of the Isle of Wight, The Bay Collection draws on shifting tides, worn textures and the quiet rhythm of the sea.
Each piece is handcrafted in silver or gold, with surfaces that echo erosion, movement, and time…jewellery designed to hold a sense of place.
The Inspiration
The collection began with observation.
Light moving across the water.
The texture of stone softened over time.
The way the shoreline is constantly reshaped, never fixed.These details aren’t recreated directly, but translated – through mark-making, form and the subtle irregularities that come from working by hand.
The Making Process
Each piece is individually handcrafted in the studio, allowing the material to respond during making.
Rather than highly polished finishes, the surfaces are left with a softer, more organic quality – reflecting the natural changes that inspired them.
There’s a balance between control and unpredictability, where the process itself becomes part of the final piece.
A Sense of Place
