Part of the In the Tide collection, the Tail Pendant draws inspiration from the ripples and movement of water. Its flowing organic form echoes the shape of a tail moving beneath the water’s surface, capturing a fleeting moment of movement in solid silver.
Created using the water-casting process, molten silver is poured directly into water, where it cools instantly to form sculptural shapes and textures. The process is unpredictable, creating organic forms that can never be exactly replicated. As a result, this pendant is a true one-of-a-kind piece, with no other exactly the same.
Inspired by tidal movement, erosion and the ever-changing nature of the coastline, this contemporary pendant celebrates the beauty found in natural forms and the unexpected outcomes of the making process.
