Inspired by scallop shells gathered along the Isle of Wight coastline, the Scallop Shell Necklace celebrates the quiet beauty of the shoreline through handcrafted silver and natural stone.

Each shell begins as a hand-carved wax before being individually cast in recycled sterling silver, hallmarked by the London Assay Office and carefully hand-finished in the beCHARLO studio, every necklace preserves the sculptural ridges and organic textures of the original carving, ensuring no two shells are ever exactly alike.

Suspended from an 18-inch natural stone beaded necklace with a sterling silver carabiner clasp, the design combines traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary coastal aesthetic. Available in either Rainbow Natural Stones or Rose Quartz, each necklace offers its own distinctive character while remaining true to the collection.

The radiating lines of the scallop shell have long been associated with journeys, protection and safe return. Reimagined in silver, the necklace reflects the textures, movement and enduring beauty of the coastline that continues to inspire beCHARLO Jewellery.

Only five medium necklaces have been created as part of this collection.

The Scallop Shell Collection is inspired by treasures gathered along the Isle of Wight coastline and celebrates one of the sea’s most recognisable natural forms.

Each shell begins as a hand-carved wax before being individually cast in recycled sterling silver, hallmarked and finished entirely by hand. Paired with a natural stone beaded necklace and contemporary sterling silver carabiner clasp, every piece combines traditional jewellery-making techniques with modern coastal design.

Only ten necklaces have been created across two sizes. Once this collection has sold, these necklaces will not be remade, making each one a rare and lasting piece of the beCHARLO story.
