Step into the world of jewellery making with beCHARLO’s Beginners Studio Series.
A welcoming, hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of silversmithing.
Over the course of four weekly sessions or choose to block them together over three days in Becca’s working studio, you’ll learn traditional techniques and create your own beautiful trio of sterling silver pieces: a ring, a pendant and a pair of earrings.
This experience is perfect for total beginners or anyone curious to explore a new creative skill. You’ll work with real jewellers tools, try your hand at forming, soldering, texturing, and finishing metal, and walk away with three wearable pieces each one handmade by you.
What’s included:
- 4 x 2.5 hour studio sessions (once a week or choose to block together)

Spend time at the bench creating your own sterling silver double band ring set with a gemstone in the beCHARLO jewellery studio.
In this relaxed workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of stone setting using a bezel cup while creating a contemporary double band ring. Working with sterling silver wire, you’ll form and solder the ring before carefully setting your chosen gemstone and refining the piece to a beautiful final finish.

A private studio experience (maximum two participants) with dedicated tuition and sterling silver included.
Spend the day at the bench creating your own sterling silver sea glass or stone pendant at the beCHARLO Studio on the Isle of Wight.
In this relaxed 6-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to transform a piece of sea glass or a cabochon stone into a beautifully finished pendant using traditional silversmithing techniques. You’ll create a bezel setting, solder the components together and carefully set your chosen glass or stone before refining and polishing the final piece.
Each piece of sea glass carries its own story, shaped by years of movement in the sea, making every pendant completely unique.
No previous experience is needed – just curiosity and a willingness to try.
If you already have some jewellery-making experience, you can focus more on the bezel-setting technique and adapt the design to create a piece of jewellery that suits your style.

beCHARLO’s Bespoke 1-2-1 Jewellery Making Block
A custom-designed journey to create your own 3-piece silver collection
Looking for something a little more personal? This 1-2-1 jewellery making experience is tailored entirely around you. Whether you’re building on past skills or starting with creative confidence, you’ll work closely with Becca to design and make your very own 3-piece sterling silver collection.
Over 4–6 weeks, you’ll dive into a series of focused, private studio sessions, learning at your own pace and exploring the techniques that most excite you. Together, we’ll shape a creative path that’s inspiring, empowering, and completely unique to you.
You’ll create a beautiful duo or trio of silver jewellery projects:(depending on 4 or 6 weeks).
- A ring
