Spend an extended day in the beCHARLO studio and immerse yourself in the process of making.
This experience is designed for those who want to go a little deeper and taking time to learn. Explore techniques and create more than one piece in a calm, supportive environment.
Over the course of the session, you’ll be guided through traditional silversmithing techniques, with the opportunity to create both a silver ring and a solid sterling silver bangle. Each piece is shaped, formed, and finished by you, with expert guidance throughout.
With a maximum of two participants, the day remains personal and unhurried, allowing space to build confidence at the bench and enjoy the process as much as the outcome.
No experience is needed – just curiosity and a willingness to take your time.

beCHARLO’s Bespoke 1-2-1 Jewellery Making Block
A custom-designed journey to create your own 3-piece silver collection
Looking for something a little more personal? This 1-2-1 jewellery making experience is tailored entirely around you. Whether you’re building on past skills or starting with creative confidence, you’ll work closely with Becca to design and make your very own 3-piece sterling silver collection.
Over 4–6 weeks, you’ll dive into a series of focused, private studio sessions, learning at your own pace and exploring the techniques that most excite you. Together, we’ll shape a creative path that’s inspiring, empowering, and completely unique to you.
You’ll create a beautiful duo or trio of silver jewellery projects:(depending on 4 or 6 weeks).
- A ring
- A pendant
- A pair of earrings
- (alternatively a second ring, or a bangle) designed to suit your skill level and personal style
Depending on your ideas and experience, you’ll also have the opportunity to:
- Use pre-made bezel cups with smooth cabochon gemstones
- Create a freeform bezel setting for seaglass or irregular stones
- Develop your own cohesive collection using traditional skills like shaping, soldering, piercing, texturing, and finishing
This experience is ideal for those who:
- Prefer focused, one-to-one learning in a relaxed and inspiring studio setting.

Rent a Bench
Price range: £45.00 through £85.00‘Rent a Bench’ at Becharlo Jewellery Studio
Looking for a creative space to continue your jewellery journey?
The beCHARLO jewellery studio on the Isle of Wight offers independent bench time for makers who would like to practise their skills, work on personal projects, or simply enjoy dedicated time at the bench in a calm studio environment.
The studio is intentionally kept small and personal, creating a quiet and focused space to work and develop your jewellery practice.
Whether you are refining techniques, finishing a project, or spending time exploring new ideas, bench hire provides access to a professional jeweller’s workspace and tools.
Skill level required: Bench hire is intended for makers who are confident working independently and have prior jewellery-making experience, including soldering. These sessions are not guided workshops.
What’s included: A professional bench, shared use of studio tools and tea + coffee to keep you fuelled.
What’s not included: Materials, gemstones, precious metals and solder are not included in bench hire. Please bring your own materials for your project. Small amounts of silver may occasionally be available to purchase in the studio if required.

All makers must complete a Studio Induction Session before booking independent bench hire. This one-off session introduces you to the workspace, tools and studio safety practices so you can work confidently and independently.
Longer Studio Sessions
Planning a bigger project?
Some makers choose to book full days or multiple sessions to fully immerse themselves in the making process. Consecutive days or back-to-back sessions may be available depending on studio availability.
If you would like to book extended bench time or several days in the studio, please get in touch and I’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Studio bench sessions are currently available 1–2 days per week, with block bookings available on request.

The Charm Story Series Studio Experience

Continue the story of your silver bangle.
This workshop series is designed for those who have already created a beCHARLO silver bangle and would like to return to the studio to add meaningful charms over time.
Across a series of relaxed studio sessions, you’ll design and create small sterling silver charms to mark moments, memories or milestones. Each charm is handcrafted using traditional silversmithing techniques before being added to your bangle, gradually building a piece that reflects your personal story.
You can choose to create three charms or six charms, adding them throughout the year at a pace that suits you.
Each visit becomes a moment to pause, create and reflect while adding another chapter to your jewellery.
